Lennon, John

Cantautore, polistrumentista, artista e attivista britannico.

Dal 1960 al 1970 è stato il compositore e cantante dei Beatles. Si deve alla sua collaborazione con Paul McCartney la maggior parte delle canzoni dei Fab Four.

Dopo lo scioglimento dei Beatles, Lennon intraprende la carriera solista. Si dedica inoltre all'arte, alla composizione di testi poetici e all'attivismo politico, diventando il paladino del pacifismo.

Viene assassinato davanti alla sua casa newyorkese a colpi di rivoltella da un suo fan (Mark David Chapman) nel 1980.

After the breakup of the Beatles, Lennon embarked on a solo career. He also devoted himself to art, writing poetry, and political activism, becoming a champion of pacifism.

He was tragically assassinated in front of his New York home by gunshots from a fan (Mark David Chapman) in 1980.
